Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter

Expanded Compatibility

Works with approximately 360 Nikon F lenses. Over 90 of them retain full autofocus and automatic exposure functionality.

Streamlined Design

The FTZ II eliminates the proprietary tripod collar to accommodate wider plates, the MB-N11 battery grip, and shoot comfortably in any direction.

Alloy Resilience

Built from strong and lightweight magnesium alloy with a durable finish and professional weather sealing to keep moisture and dust out.

Preserves Audio

Its precise operation allows your F lenses' focus motors to work in harmony with the Z mount's silent system.

Z User Reviews

★★★★★

"I was able to continue using my 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II on my new Z8 and it works even faster than before. The FTZ II is much more comfortable than the original."

— Ricardo V., Wedding Photographer
★★★★★

"Excellent build. The fact that it doesn't have the tripod foot makes it much easier to balance the camera on a gimbal."

— Daniel S., Filmmaker
★★★★★

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the FTZ II different from the previous model?
The FTZ II has a more compact and streamlined design without the integrated tripod collar. This allows for more comfortable mounting on cameras with a vertical grip (MB-N11) and the use of wider tripod plates without interference.
Does it maintain image stabilization (VR)?
Yes. If your F lens has VR, it will work in conjunction with the Z camera's stabilization system. If the lens does not have VR, the Nikon Z camera will use its internal stabilization (IBIS) to improve your shots.
Which lenses retain Autofocus (AF)?
Full autofocus is retained on AF-S, AF-P, and AF-I lenses. AF-D type lenses (with in-body focus motor) will retain automatic exposure but will require manual focus.
