Asus Rog Phone 5 [with Global ROM]

Description

This is the Tencent version with Global ROM installed, it works the same as a Global model. The differences are as follows:

• The Tencent version comes with the box and manuals in Chinese; the phone comes with all languages including Spanish, so there's nothing to worry about.
• Updates would have to be done manually, while in the global version they would be automatic.
• This version is always cheaper than the Global one.

The Rog phone 5 has a very clean look with a subtle gaming aesthetic. Its design is made of high-quality materials with an aluminum frame and a Corning Gorilla Victus front glass, and Gorilla Glass 3 on the back.

It is powered by a high-end processor like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G, with a speed of 2.84 GHz.

The screen has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 20.4:9 ratio and FullHD+ resolution of 2,448 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in a density of 395 pixels per inch. The maximum brightness is 800 nits.

The refresh rates are 300 hertz for touch and up to 144 Hz for the screen, with the possibility of adjusting it to 60, 120, 144 Hz, or automatic.

It incorporates the AirTrigger 5 system, which has two more sensors than the previous generation, positioning them in the corners. Each trigger can be subdivided into two tactile zones, making for up to four buttons. Additionally, functions can be associated for better interaction, in addition to the added Armoury Crate, which is the game mode that can be configured according to preferences.

The camera composition of the ASUS Rog 5 is as follows:

• Main camera: 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor (0.8 μm pixels) with a 1/1.7-inch lens with f/1.8 aperture.
• Wide-angle camera with a 13-megapixel sensor with a 125-degree field of view lens and f/2.4 aperture.
• Macro camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture lens.
• Front camera with a 24-megapixel sensor (0.9 μm pixels) and f/2.45 aperture lens.

The Rog Phone 5 gaming phone features stereo speakers and an integrated mini-jack. These, along with the QUAD DAC and support for Bluetooth standards like aptX HD, aptX adaptive, LDAC, and AAC, allow the Rog phone 5 to process 24-bit/96kHz or 24-bit/192kHz files.

It has a 6,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging and charges to 100% in approximately one hour, with an average battery life of 19 and a half hours, and around 10 hours during intensive use.

This device comes with different storage versions; you can choose between the different capacities:
