Description

This is the Tencent version with Global ROM installed, it works the same as a Global model. The differences are as follows:

• In the Tencent version, the box and manuals are in Chinese, but the phone comes with all languages including Spanish, so there's nothing to worry about.
• Updates would have to be done manually, while in the global version they would be automatic.
• This version is always cheaper than the Global one.

The Rog Phone 5S is designed with the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon® mobile platform to elevate the mobile gaming experience to a new dimension. Its design is made of high-quality materials with an aluminum frame and front glass (Corning Gorilla Victus), rear glass (Gorilla Glass 3).

The back is very eye-catching, featuring a glass design with an area that has small dots forming the ASUS ROG logo in the center with RGB LED backlighting, which can be configured and changed in color and effects.

It is powered by a high-end processor such as the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888+ octa-core 3GHz GPU Adreno 660 5G, offering greater performance and unmatched speed. Its internal memory is 8/12GB RAM, 128GB internal storage / 12/16GB RAM, 256GB internal storage.

The screen has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 20.4:9 aspect ratio and a FullHD+ resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels, resulting in a density of 395 pixels per inch, with a maximum brightness of 800 nits.

The GameCool 5 cooling system of the Asus ROG 5s gaming phone optimizes the thermal design by placing the CPU in the center of the device and dividing the battery into two parts located on both sides of the processor, which increases thermal efficiency and ensures that the heat generated by the CPU is transferred to the entire chassis surface simultaneously with refresh rates of 300 hertz for touch and up to 144 Hz for the screen.

The GameFX audio system of the Asus phone ROG 5s incorporates two symmetrical 7-magnet speakers that produce perfectly balanced stereo effects, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a high-fidelity ESS DAC. In addition, it offers effects that provide games with crystal-clear effects and powerful soundscapes.

It incorporates the AirTrigger 5 system, which has two more sensors than the previous generation, positioning them in the corners. Each trigger can be subdivided into two tactile zones, making up to four buttons. In addition, functions can be associated for better interaction, plus the added Armoury Crate, which is the gaming mode that can be configured according to preferences.

The ROG Phone 5s supports a total of 10 different motion controls, so you can easily choose the movements that suit your game. 

The main 64 MP Sony® IMX686 wide-angle camera, a second 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a macro camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture lens, and a 24 MP front camera for group selfies and live video streaming; Additionally, it includes a professional video mode and free zoom, wind filter, and acoustic focus functions.

It features a 6000 mAh battery which now comes with a 65-watt HyperCharge adapter, ideal for playing without ties or limitations. In addition, it includes constant charging functions, which allow controlling the charging speed, and charge bypass, to avoid overloading the battery during long gaming sessions, these improve battery performance and prolong its lifespan.

This Asus phone comes with different storage versions; you can choose between the different capacities:
