This is the Chinese ROM (Tencent) version:

• Not officially supported: ASUS does not officially sell versions with Chinese ROM (Tencent) and global firmware. Some sellers may flash the global ROM on Chinese devices, but this is not an officially supported configuration.
• Slower updates: Updates may be slower on the Chinese ROM due to restrictions imposed by Google on devices that do not meet its standards.
• Bootloader lock: In some cases, the bootloader may be locked on the Chinese ROM, which makes it difficult to access advanced features such as root.

The ROG Phone 5s, an update to the ROG Phone 5, features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its powerful Snapdragon 888+ processor is combined with up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The back of the phone is striking, with a glass design that includes small dots forming the ASUS ROG logo. In addition, it has customizable RGB LED backlighting to give it a unique touch.

The ROG Phone 5s uses the GameCool 5 cooling system, which optimizes its thermal design by positioning the CPU in the center of the device and dividing the battery into two parts on either side of the processor. This ensures greater thermal efficiency by transferring the heat generated by the CPU to all edges and corners of the chassis simultaneously. In addition, it offers a touch refresh rate of 300 hertz and up to 144 Hz for the screen. 

Its GameFX audio system features symmetrical 7-magnet speakers that provide balanced stereo effects and a powerful sound experience. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a high-fidelity ESS DAC for exceptional sound quality.

The ROG Phone 5s incorporates the AirTrigger 5 system, which surpasses the previous generation by adding two additional sensors in the corners. Each trigger can be subdivided into two touch zones, allowing for up to four buttons. In addition, these triggers can be assigned to specific functions to improve interaction. The gaming mode, called Armoury Crate, can be customized according to the user's preferences.

In terms of motion controls, the ROG Phone 5s supports a total of 10 different options. This allows players to choose the movements that best suit their playing style.

It features a 64 MP Sony® IMX686 wide-angle main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle second camera, and a macro camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture lens. In addition, it includes a 24 MP front camera for group selfies and live streaming. It also offers a professional video mode and functions such as free zoom, wind filter, and acoustic focus.

As for the battery, the device has a 6000 mAh capacity and comes with a 65-watt HyperCharge adapter, making it ideal for worry-free gaming sessions. In addition, constant charging and charge bypass functions help improve battery performance and prolong its lifespan.
