Unlike traditional 3-axis gimbals, the Z-axis compensates for vertical movement (the operator's "step"). This allows for stable recordings while running or walking without the need for a stabilization vest or professional walking technique.

Can I use my own lenses with LiDAR focusing?

Yes. The Ronin 4D uses interchangeable mounts (including E-mount and L-mount). With the DJI focus motor, LiDAR can automate focus even on classic manual lenses, creating a real-time depth map.
