Does it require Phantom Power (48V)?
No. Being a dynamic microphone, it does NOT need 48V. If you connect it via XLR, simply plug it in. If you accidentally activate Phantom Power, it will not damage the mic, but it is not necessary.
Does it include the boom arm?
Generally no. The K688 comes with its own shock mount and a threaded adapter to mount it on any standard microphone arm, but the arm itself is sold separately.
Can I use USB and XLR at the same time?
