This smart unit holds up to 4x 1kg spools simultaneously, allowing you to print complex multicolor models or use soluble supports (PVA) without manual intervention. The printer will automatically switch materials layer by layer, saving you hours of supervision.
More than a color changer, it's a material guardian. The CFS features a sealed design with a temperature and humidity display, protecting your hygroscopic filaments (like PLA or PETG) from ambient moisture. Plus, thanks to RFID technology, if you use Creality filaments, the system will instantly recognize the color and material type, adjusting printing parameters for you.

If you wish to use it with the K1 Series (K1, K1 Max, K1C) or the Ender-3 V3, please ensure you check if you need the 'Upgrade Kit' (which includes a new print head with filament cutter and adapter board), as the CFS requires the printer to be able to automatically cut the filament.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Creality CFS
Does the CFS dry filament (heat)?
No. The CFS is a Passive Dry Box. It is hermetically sealed to keep filament dry and displays humidity on screen, but it does not have a heater to actively dry wet filament.
Does it work with cardboard spools?
Yes, but with caution. Like other AMS systems, the rollers can wear down cardboard and generate dust that can clog the gears. It is recommended to print plastic rings/adapters for the edges of cardboard spools.
Can I mix materials (e.g., PLA and PETG)?
Yes, but only for supports. You cannot print a part half PLA and half PETG because they do not adhere to each other. But you can use PETG as a support material for PLA parts (and vice versa) so that the supports peel off easily without leaving marks.
