The Xiaomi 13 Ultra global version, part of the Xiaomi 13 series, focuses on photography thanks to its collaboration with Leica.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra features an impressive WQHD+ resolution with 68 billion colors and a 6.73-inch 3D curved display that reveals every detail. This phone offers sharp images and vibrant colors for an immersive viewing experience, with a customizable refresh rate (from 60 to 120 Hz) or automatic (from 1 to 120 Hz), high black contrast, and high brightness levels. According to the brand, it has a maximum capacity of 2,600 nits and a constant capacity of 1,300 nits.

Equipped with the powerful QualcommSnapdragon® 8 Gen 2 quad-core processor, 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512 GB or 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage, it offers fluid and uninterrupted performance even with the most demanding tasks. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The Xiaomi Ultra 13 features a four-camera system: one one-inch camera and three additional Sony IMX 858 cameras, which, while not as large, are capable. Although the main sensor is identical to that of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the other three sensors are different. Additionally, it has an improved lens and, more importantly, the processing algorithms have undergone significant changes. In computational photography, this is the most crucial aspect. The sensors are as follows:

• Leica ultra wide-angle lens (122°): 50 megapixels, IMX858 sensor. 12 mm equivalent focal length. Wide aperture of f/1.8. 5 cm super macro.

It features a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture for high-quality selfies.

Capturing photos in the RAW file format up to 14 bits is possible with the new Ultra RAW professional mode. DNG files are calibrated by Adobe Labs using integrated color correction metadata. 

Professional photographers achieve exceptional image quality and an excellent basis for post-processing when opening photos with Adobe Lightroom because Adobe Camera RAW automatically optimizes them based on the metadata.

Xiaomi's patented Loop LiquidCool cooling system boasts three times better cooling than conventional vapor chambers, featuring a vapor-liquid separation design and a unidirectional Loop LiquidCool circulation structure.
