The power of a professional display in the most portable size. Draw without parallax and control your canvas with the acclaimed Red Dial interface.
Start your creative journey on the right foot. The XP-PEN Artist 12 Pro is the perfect tablet to get started with digital drawing on a screen. Unlike basic versions, this 'Pro' model features a fully laminated 11.6-inch display, eliminating the annoying gap between the glass and the image so you feel like you're drawing directly on the artwork, without optical deviation.
Small in size, giant in workflow. It integrates the famous mechanical Red Dial interface, allowing you to zoom and rotate the canvas with a smoothness that touch buttons cannot match. Combined with the passive pen that supports 60 degrees of tilt, you get a complete studio experience that fits in any laptop bag.
The users' favorite feature. A physical rotating dial that fits your hand to control zoom, brush size, or scroll intuitively and quickly.
Thanks to full lamination technology and the textured protective film, the pen doesn't slip. It offers just the right amount of friction to simulate the experience of drawing on traditional paper.
With an 11.6-inch screen, it is compact and lightweight. It's ideal for students who need to carry their tablet from home to class or to a coffee shop without extra weight.
Connect, configure, and start creating in minutes.

Customize your favorite commands (Undo, Copy, Paste, Hand Tool) on its 8 physical buttons to work faster and use the keyboard less.
It connects to your computer using a single cable that splits at the end (USB and HDMI), reducing cable clutter on your desk.
Comes with a portable black plastic stand that elevates the tablet to a comfortable angle for drawing and to prevent neck pain.

It depends on your use. 11.6 inches is approximately the size of an A4 sheet (a little less). It's sufficient for most beginners and for photo retouching, but if you're used to drawing with broad arm movements, you might prefer the 13.3 or 15.6-inch version.
The difference is huge. The old 'normal' version does not have a laminated display (there is a visible gap between the pen and the screen) and has a touch bar instead of the Red Dial. The Pro version is far superior in visual precision and handling.
Generally not. The red USB cable connects to the computer for power. If your computer doesn't provide enough power, you can use the included power adapter to plug it into the wall.
