Description

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is a gaming-focused smartphone from the Chinese brand ZTE that boasts an exceptional design and display, crafted with high-quality materials such as glass on both sides of an aluminum body, a textured finish on the back, and a modular design for the rear cameras.

The operating system is a customized layer of the ZTE phone called MY OS 12 that maintains a Chinese aesthetic, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It's a SoC with up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of internal storage, and an Adreno 730 graphics card (GPU).

The ZTE phone features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1116 x 2480 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz (fixed or variable), a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1500 nits.

One of the main features of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is the camera, located under the screen, an element that is not visible. This means the front is almost seamless, facilitating content immersion.

It features a dual speaker system with no distortion at maximum volume, as well as high-quality wired audio.

It incorporates a triple camera system with Sony IMX 787 sensors and a 35mm 64-megapixel lens each; main, wide-angle, and telephoto maintain colorimetry and white balance among the three sensors, while the aforementioned under-display front camera is 16 MP.

It has a 5000 mAh capacity battery with fast charging up to 80 W that can fully charge the phone in 47 minutes; it does not include wireless charging.

Rounding out the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra's features are; a Type-C connection, 5G and 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and active noise cancellation with the active microphone.
