Description
The Nubia Red Magic 7 is the seventh generation of Red Magic smartphones dedicated to ZTE's gaming range. It features a glass front and a transparent material back cover with an aluminum frame, measuring 170.57 mm high, 78.33 mm wide, and 9.5 mm thick.
The operating system is Redmagic OS 5.0, a customization layer based on Android 12. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, Qualcomm's new and powerful chip with up to 18 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, it also features an Adreno™ 730 GPU, which is 25% more efficient in rendering graphics and up to 30% faster.
The Redmagic 7's display is a 6.8-inch 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, delivering an average density of 387 pixels per inch. It boasts a 165 Hz refresh rate, a 720 Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 700 nits.
The most striking gaming feature of the Red Magic 7 is the multi-dimensional cooling system 8.0. This system uses active and passive heat dissipation methods such as air-cooling + liquid cooling + dissipating materials + phase change materials, keeping the smartphone from overheating during long periods of use. It also includes a duct for air intake and exhaust, improving ventilation and thus the cooling system.
It features 2 shoulder triggers with a 500 Hz touch sampling frequency that can be customized for a better gaming experience, with a response speed of up to 8 ms. In addition to these integrated triggers, it has DC dimming certification, which reduces stroboscopic effects and eye strain. It is also certified by SGS as a protective factor against blue light.
It incorporates a triple camera on the back of the device with 64, 8, and 2-megapixel lenses with an f/1.8 aperture, while the front camera is 8 megapixels.
It has a 4500 mAh dual-cell battery with 65W fast charging via a GaN charger. It also allows for charge separation, which provides power directly to the phone, bypassing the battery.
The Nubia Red Magic 7 features also include: Type-C connection, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6e 2x2 MIMO, 3.5 mm audio jack, DUAL NANO-SIM slot, two stereo speakers, an attractive look with RGB lights on the back, an in-display fingerprint reader, and 3 gaming microphones.
