The RedMagic 8 Pro is part of the eighth generation of Red Magic smartphones dedicated to ZTE's gaming range. This device features a screen with a modern and sophisticated appearance, thanks to the transparent glass on the front, RGB lighting on the back, and the aluminum frame. It is manufactured in a compact size of 164 mm high, 76.4 mm wide, and 8.9 mm thick.

The operating system is REDMAGIC OS 6.0, a customization layer based on Android 13. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm's new and powerful chip with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Thanks to the AI power in the new Snapdragon, the power is 120 Hz, frames will always be at their smoothest, being up to 33% faster.

The Redmagic 8 Pro screen is a 6.8-inch Corning® Gorilla® Glass AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution of 1116 x 2480 pixels. It features a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 960 Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits.

The most striking gaming feature of the Red Magic 8 Pro is the ICE 11.0 cooling system, a 10-layer cooling system that keeps the device cool while you play. The system has the following features;

• Under-Display Graphene Layer: To remove heat from the screen and fingers, REDMAGIC added a large graphene layer to the bottom of the screen to better dissipate heat from the phone before it reaches your thumb.
• 20,000 rpm High-Speed Turbofan: Heat from the phone is transferred to REDMAGIC's integrated turbofan motor, where heat is quickly removed and replaced with fresh air.
• Dual-Layer VC Liquid Cooling Pad: Improved with two layers and now larger to cover the battery, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 gaming chipset, and Red Core are located at the back of the phone.

It has 2 side triggers with a touch sampling frequency of 960 Hz, and the response speed can reach up to 8 ms. In addition to this trigger integration, it has a blue light protection certification by SGS.

The RedMagic 8 Pro features advanced audio components with DTS:X technology, providing epic sound to enjoy every detail with crisp clarity. The RGB backlights come to life to interact with all sounds for a futuristic feel.

It also features REDMAGIC Studio which allows seamless integration of any game directly from the REDMAGIC 8 Pro to PC or TV.

It incorporates a triple camera on the back of the device, with 50, 8, and 2-megapixel lenses with an aperture of f/1.8, while the front camera is 16 megapixels and is located under the screen.

It has two batteries with a capacity of 3000 mAh each, for a total of 6000 mAh of battery life, with 65W fast charging via a GaN charger.

Rounding out the Red Magic 8 Pro features are: Type-C connection, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, 3.5 mm audio jack, DUAL NANO-SIM slot, two stereo speakers, with its RGB lights on the back, in-display fingerprint reader, 4D haptic vibration.

This Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro is available in different storage versions;
